MEC's goal is to have a Wobble Double machines available in OCTOBER, they are presently testing them and working out the Bugs.

MSRP$ Approx $7400.00 + shipping, they are presently testing them at one of their Local Clubs.

This will be the 500 target model.

Presently none of their machines will NOT throw doubles.

Thanks, Gary, You are doing a fine job on this. I've shot wobble doubles and it's not nearly as tricky as it sounds, but I try not to be an instant "timing" shooter on that first bird. The second is no problem. Rather, it's no more of a problem than it usually is for a slowish shooter like me.

Rather than "buying it now," I'd spend a while on market research. Ask the clubs in your area who have wobble traps how much use they get. We have a couple at Metro and my estimate is that they spend far less than 1% of their target-throwing time using their wobble talents. The rest of the time they just throw regular targets and are , no matter what PAT says, way more trouble to set (vertically) than the nice toothed spiral on the others. I can ask a scorer to please lift them up two clicks and I will get it; were I to ask for that amount of change on a wobble I wouldn't even know how to say it - or guess what I would end up with!

A turnbuckle would be better yet, in my opinion, but you can't have everything and I suppose the fact that no one has ever produced a turnbuckle system as an improvement should tell me that someone has done market research on that it and found it would be a loser.

Just how does a turnbuckle adjust it's self on a Wobble trap, Your speaking of a fixed Doubles trap.

No Doc, You disconnect the vertical motor and then use a turn buckle for height adjustment. The same as on a standard machine.
The same way you did it on a 1524 Win. machine.
Neil, I do not think any one in the trap machine business is trying to improve any of the machines any more. Roger C.
