I drove to the Cardinal Center today to see old friends, but was suprised at the Attendance, but I think this being Labor Day Weekend, a lot of shooters went to visit Relatives and College Students, They utilized the First Four Banks near the Entry.

So I went to The Outdoor Pavillion and had a Diet Dr.Pepper, a Sisters Magnificent Huge Long John Donut and a Cheese Burger, I was the only person in the Pavillion at 12:30pm, Shooting was going on at Banks 1-2-3-4, I stuck around for another Hour and headed home, Looked like a total of approx 140 shooters had signed up to shoot through Saturday.

I shot the program on Saturday. Singles had 117 entries and handicap had 83. Looks like 233 shooters over the 3 days. I heard this would be the last year for the Labor Day Invitational. Don't know if that is true or not.

There were approx 120 TOTAL Shooters, I counted them, that had Paid entries, some shot some of the events, but not all of them shot all events.

I* did a recount 235 which included Sunday's entries, there was never a 200 shooter entry in any event.

Not quite the Jaqua shoots of old, but that was then, this is now.
Lets hope Mother Nature is more kind next year.
