Besides making great bourbon, great race horses-Kentucky knocks out some great trap shooters

    D- shooter-runs a 99--a lot of 100's-- for a relatively--small state shoot

Maybe if I grew up in Kentucky or drank bourbon instead of scotch--could have been a much better shooter

Makes one wonder how the targets were set? Might just not be the water at all?

It is "the water" ..... the ATA Kool Aid flavored water those running ATA shoots are drinking .....

It doesn't take a "hate the ATA site" for the attendance numbers to show many are not interested in large shoots now, knowing the current scores required to be anything other than a squad filler .....

Can a lower class shooter crank out a good score, sure ..... in every event at all larger shoots, no .....

Go back to requiring x-number of targets to qualify for anything under A-Class ..... then, if you have 15 scores that average a 79 and break a 99, you get the score reviewed before you win anything, and will most likely get disqualified not rewarded .....

"Back in the day" Trapshooters were very good at self-policing the Sport ..... Now, it is much easier to stay home than fight a losing battle with those drinking the "fantastic direction" Kool Aid .....
