Got an email asking for donations to the ATA HOF. I went to the website and noticed that the records are way out of date. Even the ATA website is not up to date on Grand Slam recognition. The last entry was Rick Fuller in 2015. These folks need to do more to promote the sport. Keeping up to date record on your website should be easy to do. You don't need a building for that.

Mike, I,m still waiting to have my 100,000 doubles recognized. I did it at the same shoot as one other person, He was noted in the trap the next month. That was at the almost a year ago. Someone must be pissed at me. Roger C.

Notes of grand slams are a joke!

They are only a reminder of an era (now) where targets are easier, belittling those that actually accomplished something.

Agree, but it is still an accomplishment worth noting for those in the sport today.
Maybe they can put a note for the year when the target setting was changed so people can distinguish who achieved it when shooting more difficult targets.

The only thing worth noting are the names of the people that ruined the sport and records by making the targets easier. Followed by a blank page with the saying there have been no "Grand" slams since the shells and targets were changed.

I would like to see a list of those that stood up against the easier targets.

THOF records are Current to 2010.

Good God, what happened since History Buff left them ?

I had a hard time believing this because HB used to keep it all up to date.

BUT when I checked I found Mike J. is totally correct.

What a shame. Looks like the artifacts were not the only things that went into storage.

Only problem is, they forgot to unpack the records when they opened the new Horse barn..

Can HB give any information as to what happened..usually there is a simple explanation, such as the ATA had not forwarded this information to the THOF personnel. ..That is just a guess on my part.

Perhaps they are on the "NEED TO KNOW" basis also.
