Well it's turned 95 with 90% humidity and it will stay that effing way till mid September. Too late for me to get out of here this year, but I would like to go through one summer without sweating everyday. Maybe next year. Some place not so dam hot and humid.

Anybody know of any trap clubs in Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, New Hampshire, etc.. where a guy can show up in an RV and camp for 3 or 4 months and shoot a little trap every week. I'd like to find one spot and stay - I don't want to have to pack up every week and head on the down the road.

    Probably a pipe dream.

Cardinal Center would most likely offer the most of what you are looking for, but you didn't include Ohio on your list.

after shooting today in Wisconsin --90 degrees and 70% humidity -- we had a club member go down with the heat -- I would suggest looking at Canada or Alaska !!!!

Try Tucson, or Casa Grande. You could also try Ben Avery in Phoenix. humidity is as low as 10 per cent much of summer. they are all good places to shoot also. Roger C.

It would be nice if someone would put an RV camp with a few trap houses on the Western slope of the Bitterroot Range in Montana for some nice summer shooting. LOL

Got a friend who did really, really well financially. When he retired he purchased small ranch in Montana and a place in Scottsdale, AZ. When the snow starts to fly he heads south and when it gets over 85-90 in AZ he heads to the "Big Sky Country".

The good news is we only got 3 more months of heat and humidity then decent weather will return. The bad news is the months of July and August both have over 100 days each in em around here.

Robinson Ranch is just about tolerable till 10:30, if Tom didn't put out umbrella for singles & doubles -forget about it-don't think I can survive the zone at the Dollar July 19-21-- its got to be unbearable

Last time I was at RR it seemed as though Tom was "Forgetting" several things.

Any word on the new place by Lake Panasoffkee that Frank Woodward had talked about in a news article a year or so ago ?

Would be nice to have a place closer to Brownwood.

The new place is a very nice Sporting Clays establishment--if they had some trap fields would give it a try

Definitely West of the Bitterroots but you might look at the web for Evergreen Sportsman's club near Rochester, WA. Casinos nearby with great buffets. If it gets too warm a 1 hour drive puts you into some beautiful, scenic, cool country on the Pacific Coast.
