Some of us did OK with those targets. Little won with 200, I won with 100 & Huber beat Little with 50 to 49 shoot-off after 96's in the 'caps. The equipment was sold to White Flyer and they destroyed it. Of course my memory could be going and maybe we didn't shoot Great Eastern's that day.

I see the picture was 1992
I'm thinking the year we picked up targets was a lot earlier than that. What was the first year they shot "Woody's" targets?

    From HB's post:

"Woody Brown formed Midgard Inc. about 1955 and sold his precision plastics manufacturing company to Ametek Inc. in 1970. He continued to manage Midgard until 1987 when he retired. It appears that this company started manufacturing Great Eastern targets sometime in 1983, continuing until late 1987."

And thanks for the picture. Mel was a hell of a nice guy, on and off the shooting field.

Can anyone tell me if Great Eastern or Woody's targets had names or logos on them ?

Until Dave Berlet began asking me if I had a Meckling target, I didn't even know I had these in my collection until he and HB began showing me pictures and articles.
