Came across this interesting letter from Russ Elliott of Elliott`s Shooting Park. It was written Jan. 11, 1935 to William (Bill) Moore editor of Sportsmen`s Review.
Russ was a well known shooter, owner operator and promoter of Trapshooting...

We do only their vision is for self enrichment at the expense of the ATA members. The volunteer service that is rewarded with $20.000 GUNS, LIBERAL EXPENSE ACCOUNTS, and no itimized account for the members to see. Sounds like a very good deal to me. After all we do not have a right to know. Roger C.

I started shooting at Elliott's over 50 years ago and still to this day continue to enjoy their fun filled facility and club members.
