Is Mark Arie's gun still in the Hall of Fame? I guess the gun that really made Leo famous, the Remington 1100 would have looked about as much of an antique as Arie's gun does, valued at four dollars in his day.

Lot's of guns in the HOF but not sure of the name you mentioned. Would like to see Brad's favorite gun there even if it's on loan for the Grand.

I'd give my gun to the Ohio HOF if I was so inclined and they wanted it. Brad

Thanks HB. You are sure a resource for this site.

Brad - if you gave it to the Ohio HOF they could loan it to the ATA HOF during the Grand.

  15. Nice pictures. Thanks for posting. I would like to see a picture of the crowds. ATA said 15,000 competitors there last year during prelims. That is a bunch.

Those pictures were taken with an iPhone. Next time I will bring my camera where I can fit all 15,000 competitors in one frame. LOL

Brad, you and your gun are a part of history that cannot be denied, your gun would look good any place it was displayed ... The idea of loaning it out for the grand is a great idea, but it belongs in Ohio ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Mike J, count up all of the people in the trap shooting All American Teams, and then count the people in your picture. A lot of them never came to the Grand. I believe their are about 265 people in total on the all American teams. You would think they would want to be present . Roger C.

Frankly a lot of AA who were there didn't show up for the picture. See how many from the men first team was in the picture...none of the big names.

Now I remember. I think the article above is also on display at the HOF.

They couldn't get the same number of shooters that used to shoot the GAH event to go to that place in IL.

If Mark Arie was standing there holding that Marlin!

I now have sent my donations of possessions to the OHIO THOF when I have duplicates. Betty Peterson and her staff do a wonderful job with the displays, and I have to believe there are a lot more people there who enjoy seeing the articles, than any other THOF.

Amazing place, and I am sure the youth can learn history about the sport at that museum as well as any other.

I'm still looking for a Quality Model 92 hand set trap machine to donate to the OHIO HALL OF FAME. Does anyone know of one for sale anywhere? Roger Coveleskie

Unfortunately those pictures are of the crowds, proving once again "If you build it, they won't come " ... The attendance has been pathetic since the relocation but there are rumors of moving in a "Fantastic Direction" and them having more shooters that they can handle some day ... In the mean time NADA ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
